This was originally two songs we eventually merged into one. Ellen and I recorded our vocal tracks separately, so it was only after she came in did she find out that I threw in a proposal at the very end of the song. I didn't know what her reaction was gonna be, until I listened to the finished master, where it ends with Ellen saying "Yes".
