about

The flipside to "Postcards from Nova Scotia", this song was inspired by hordes of black cars parked in and around Jamaica Estates. Lots of Jim Morrison influence throughout too, wouldn't you say?

lyrics

The devil's coming-there's a chill in the air
Beware the black hybrids-they come in pairs

There's a killer in an SUV
Switching cars so you cannot see.

Hyundai Sonata and a Nissan too
If it's black then they're coming for you.

Black as the night, black as a raven
Whoever's inside must be hailing Satan.

Beware the black cars. Just thought you'd know
Devils' hybrids everywhere you go.

Hear me now, don't you make me hollar
Black is a devil's color.
